Duties

 Job Summary:

Coordinate client activities on specifically assigned accounts, monitor client activity to ensure effectiveness of services extended by TMA, and maintain and coordinate appropriate communication between client, producer, TMA (underwriting, marketing, claims, accounting and loss control) and TMNF Home Office. 

Acquire new business by utilizing both existing and new marketing channels.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Coordinate, monitor, and supervise activity associated with specifically assigned accounts.
  2. Establish and maintain effective relationship with and between clients, producers, and TMA staff.
  3. Assist Underwriting, Loss Control, Claim, and Audit Departments in coordinating their activity to ensure a level of service commensurate with client needs.
  4. Monitor client loss activity and trends and provide appropriate assistance to ensure TMA profitability and client satisfaction.
  5. Actively participate in and contribute to the effectiveness of Client Service Teams.
  6. Assist producers in establishing and maintaining effective client communication and service.
  7. Monitor economic trends and develop new business by exploiting existing and new market channels.
  8. Maintain continuing and open communication with TMA and TMNF Home Offices as well as other TMM Underwriting/Coordination Offices.
  9. Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company.     

Other Functions:

  1. Participate in necessary internal meetings.
  2. Monitor industry related activity and advise senior management of conditions or situations.
  3. Ability to work as part of a team and interface daily with team members.
  4. Performing special projects and other duties as may be assigned.
  5. Regular and reliable attendance.
  6. Frequent business travel to TMA offices, clients, producers and for other marketing activities, especially to the State of Ohio. Overnight travel may be required.

  

Qualifications

  • College Degree Preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years insurance industry/carrier experience. Experience working with producers is a must.
  • Producers license is required. Existing license is preferred, or the ability to obtain a producer license will be required within 6 months of hire.
  • Accident & Health license is required. Existing license is preferred, or the ability to obtain an A&H license will be required within 6 months of hire. 
  • Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills.
